August 14- NYSABA Board Meeting.
Russell Hahn- Honored by NYSABA
On November 12, 2014, at the New York State Agribusiness Association (NYSABA) and Cornell Field Crop Dealer Meeting, Russell Hahn received the NYSABA Industry Impact Award. The NYSABA Industry Impact Award honors individuals who have significantly and positively brought about advancement to the agribusiness industry.
For almost 41 years, Hahn has served as the weed expert. He is New York’s weed Guru. “When we created the award this past summer, there was no argument over who would be the first recipient. There was no discussion. Everyone chose Russ Hahn,” explained Jeremy Schulz, president of NYSABA.
NYSABA is a not-for-profit association part of whose mission is to encourage scientifically sound agriculture practices while protecting the environment.
