Our Mission

NYSABA is a non-profit association representing the agricultural chemical, seed, and fertilizer industries. Members include dealers, distributors, basic manufacturers, fertilizer and lime suppliers, seed companies, feed suppliers, consultants and university researchers and educators.

Our Purpose

To promote the Agri-business Industry by clearly providing a collective voice on legislative issues, reflect the members’ needs by fostering professional development and networking opportunities and foster positive working relationships between the association and all entities that impact the industry.

Timely information dissemination-

Find out what’s going on in the industry or share your information with others through: an industry email update, a quarterly newsletter, and emergency email broadcasts on important issues.

Professional development-

NYSABA administers the Northeast Region Certified Crop Adviser (NRCCA) program, certifying over 200 continuing education events each year.

Networking opportunities-

We host a summer BBQ at the Aurora Musgrave Research Farm, The NRCCA December Training event, and the NYSABA Annual Meeting.

A legislative presence in Albany-

The State of New York, New York Farm Bureau, the New York Center For Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH) and state representatives all seek input from NYSABA as a source of information and advice on agricultural issues.
