What can NYSABA do for you? How about: Timely information dissemination- Find out what’s going on in the industry or share your information with others through: a weekly industry email update, a quarterly newsletter, and emergency email broadcasts on important issues.
Professional development- NYSABA administers the Northeast Region Certified Crop Adviser program, the NYSABA Annual Meeting, and the CCA December Training. Information on professional development opportunities goes out weekly in our email update.
Networking opportunities- We host a Winter Basketball Social at Syracuse U., the Aurora Weed Day Barbecue, and an Annual Banquet.
A legislative presence in Albany- Governor Pataki, New York Farm Bureau, the New York Center For Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH) and state representatives all courted NYSABA in 2005 as a source of agri-business information and for support on legislative bills.
